I didn't get back to you with my great finds Sunday afternoon ...because....there weren't any. (sigh) I even went by the Yes You Can table at Walmart and that was a total disappointment. I got nothing. There was a display of some products and 2 pamphlets on how to use etc. No coupons. (boo hoo)

Tuesday was a different story. I had a blast on my nephew's field trip. We went to a Pumpkin farm. There were hay rides, corn mazes, and a chance to plant a pumpkin. My nephew had a great are a few pics.

Matthew was "starving" for Mexican food so we loaded up and went to town. (about 20 miles) Never mind that I was just there last night and I don't particularly like the food at this restaurant. Sigh...It was nice to be there with my boys. We also went to the local Skate Park so that Joseph could spend his hard earned money on a new board. It was a ridiculous price but cool to see them assemble the parts that he chose. He will break it in tomorrow after church. That is what he gets from me for his birthday..."skate party". The boys then decided they wanted to go bowling. I had errands to run so I left them to it. (I really like to see them spend time with each other.) It may sound strange and rambling but this was a good day. We don't have a lot of those lately. Maybe once a week...the medical issues for my oldest son are a constant battle for him which in turn affects us.

Thank you Jesus, It was a GOOD day.

I had a good time today looking for wild flowers to make a "weed" bouquet. Some of the flowers produced by plants that we consider weeds are quite beautiful. God's beauty shines through in the simple things.

All You Yes You Can

Don't forget to check out All You Yes You Can at a local Walmart on Oct. 25 or 26.

Skateboarding and Birthdays

My youngest son is turning fifteen on sunday. Boy do I feel old... He is going to a local skate park with a few friends after church on sunday. I am trying to figure a cool way to make a cake or cookie cake with a skateboard theme. I would ask for input but since I just started blogging yesterday, I don't think anyone is viewing me yet. If I am successful, I will post a picture of my effort. Wish me luck!
